Hola Mis Amigos del Runescapel, Debido a la serie de protestas y comentarios acerca de un server español. Me pase por el foro de runescape para ver que decian, y solo encontre, post sin ninguna base, ni argumentos y con comentarios, feos y discriminatorios. Por lo que decidi. Escribir un post que estuviera acorde que lo que pedimos, y el porque lo pedimos.
Aqui les dejo las Dos Versiones. La de ingles y la de español. POR FAVOR LEELAS TE INTEREZAN.

In the last days, I’ve felt motivated to write this post, according to the many comments that I’ve read about the Spanish Server on this game. Some comments have been good, others a little discriminatory due to ignorance or lack of knowledge which are both the same. And for that reason, my motivation for this post goes directed to my Latin American Community and to my friends around the world.
My Runescape username is Dalabeba, as can be appreciated next to this post. I am member of runescape for more than one year. I’m a 23 year old Venezuelan Women. When I began to play, my knowledge of English was very poor. But I’ve met lots of friends especially from the US. Time has passed; the game has grown and has extended its popularity to many Hispanic sectors. I’m currently a collaborator on a webpage that aids Spanish speaking players, in which we make quest guides, recommend strategies and give all sorts of tips about the game; so we can make help out those players that don’t speak any English. Always respecting the game rules. Just like the webpage that I’ve mentioned, there are many others. What’s interesting is that we “Spanish speaking players” have been increasing in and that number keeps rising. I’m not saying that we’re the second spoken language on Runescape neither that we are the 20, 35 or 45% of the population that plays the game. My intention is not to create any discussions or to get people angry. My intention is just to ask my Latin American friends and all my other runescaping friends around the world that they give me their support on this post, so we can a Server in Spanish, just like Germany and France.
I’ve read in many comments on this forum, responses saying: “The Spanish speaking players should learn English”, or “In South America there are no computers”. Well, here’s my answer, I think it would be awesome that every single person on earth spoke the same language; unfortunately it’s not like that. It’s also true that we can improve or learn English playing this game. But just think how cool it would be for Spanish speaking players to have a Spanish Server, just like France or Germany. Where we can read the fantastic histories that the all the quests have; and where we can talk (write) on the game without half the words been blocked, and some non Spanish speaking players thinks that we are saying bad words or causing. I’ve read also, some comments that a Server in Spanish would be a waste of time. But think that maybe you see us like a small population on the game, but upon doing that small change, and to spend that time making the server it would make many players happy. And it would increase the number of players and members, since more people of our countries would have access to the game, and they would feel more comfortable playing on a Spanish speaking server.

Please give us your support. English is a fantastic language and I’ve made lots of English speaking friends like I mentioned before; all player are friendly people, that’s my personal opinion. They’ve always helped me on the game, we’ll a lot actually. That’s why I’m asking for everyone’s support, white, black, red, purple, American, Canadian, British, Everyone!!! You would make lots of people happy.
We are a great Latin American community, and we invested lots of time playing this fantastic Game just like you guys…getting skill capes, going to god wars, clan wars, mini games, clues, every single thing that Runescape has to offer.

En los últimos días, me he sentido motivada para escribir este post, debido a los muchos comentarios que he leído acerca del Server en español de este juego.
Algunos comentarios han sido buenos, otros sin embargo me han parecido un tanto discriminatorios. Y por esta razón, mi motivación para este post va dirigido a mi comunidad latina y a mis amigos de todo el mundo.
Mi nombre en runescape es Dalabeba, como se puede apreciar al lado de este post. Soy miembro de runescape desde hace más de un año. Y soy venezolana, profesional, de 23 años de edad. Cuando comencé a jugar, mi conocimiento de ingles era muy poco. Y sin embargo hice muy buenos amigos, norteamericanos. Pero a medida que ha pasado el tiempo, el juego ha crecido y se ha extendido su popularidad a muchos sectores hispanos.
Actualmente soy colaboradora de una pagina de ayuda para este juego, escrita en español, donde escribimos guías de quest en español, y recomendamos estrategias dentro del juego para de esta manera hacerlo mas confortable para aquellas personas que no dominan el idioma ingles. Siempre respetando el código de conducta y las reglas dentro del juego.
Como esta pagina en la cual colaboro, hay muchas otras. Lo que denota, que nosotros los jugadores hispanos, cada vez nos extendemos mas en numero.
Yo no voy a decir que somos el segundo idioma mas hablado, ni que somos el 20, 35 o 45% de la población que juega runescape. Mi intención no es crear polémica y discordia. Si no de la manera más cordial pedir a mis amigos latinos, y a mis amigos de TODO EL MUNDO. Que apoyen mi propuesta, y la de muchos, en que se nos haga un Server en español.
He leído en muchos comentarios en este foro que responden diciendo: los hispanos pueden aprender ingles, o en Suramérica no hay computadoras.
Bueno, mi respuesta es la siguiente, realmente seria fabuloso que todos los habitantes del planeta habláramos el mismo idioma, para que no hubiera este tipo de comentarios, y también es verdad que a los hispanos hablantes nos ha servido de mucho este juego en la práctica del idioma ingles. Pero, piensen, lo cómodo y agradable que seria que los hispanos tengamos un Server en español. Donde podamos conocer las fantásticas historias, que contienen las quest, y donde podamos hablar sin ser bloqueados, por pensar que estamos diciendo una palabra ofensiva.
He leído, también que han comentado que un Server en español seria una perdida de tiempo. Pero piensen que quizás ustedes nos vean como una pequeña población, pero al hacer ese pequeño cambio, y gastar ese tiempo en nosotros. Harían felices a muchos. E incrementarían el número de jugadores, ya que más personas de nuestros países tendrían acceso al juego, y se sentirían más cómodo jugando.

El ingles es un idioma fantástico, y los americanos son personas agradables, que en lo particular siempre me han ayudado mucho dentro del juego. Pero si apoyan a lo que ustedes ven como una gran minoría, harían felices a muchos otros que nos sentimos como una gran comunidad latina, y que invertimos mucho tiempo de nuestras vidas en jugar este fantástico juego.
